
Dennis Harrington originally hails from Homewood, Illinois, but has been living in Park City, Utah for the past nine years. He bagan playing violin and piano when he was nine, and received a music education degree from the University of Illinois in 1988. After teaching in Illinois for a decade, he relocated to Utah, and his career as a rock fiddler began. He has been playing in a variety of celtic and bluegrass bands since relocating to the desert between the mountains, including The Macabillys and an appearance with Carmen Rasmussen (of American Idol fame). In his spare time, he is the orchestra teacher for the Park City schools, and uses his position to spread the gospel of Irish fiddling to the next generation of Celtic-rock fans.
