Park City Info Channel filmed a promotional ad featuring "Swagger" at J. B. Mulligan's on June 30th. An original song from "Swagger" called "TITO" was filmed in front of a live audience. Swagger was also interviewed by Erik Hutchins, owner of PC Info Channel. The piece will air daily on the Info Channel beginning in August & running through the 07-08 Ski season. Swagger has been asked by Dave Morris, owner of "The Piper Down" to perform at his club on July 19th. This is a Benefit fund raising concert for Marty Kesteler. Please read the attached flyer & web link to participate in this event. Swagger will be donating their time & money to the fund. Swagger will be going into the recording studio in mid August to begin work on their first studio album. The guys are working up a great mix of traditional Irish songs along with several new originals. Already slated on the list are songs such as "Trouble on the Green", "The Piper Down" & the promising hit "TITO". Some of the new songs may not be comprised of celtic subject matter but will have the mandolin, Fiddle & Tin whistle sound in the mix. This does not mean there won't be a few rousing pub songs to sing along to. We will be trying out some of the new material in local pubs in next couple months to see how they work out. Meanwhile, stay tuned for a release date. Swagger will be playing at Deer Valley August 22nd. The show will be filmed live by the PC Info Channel crew. The footage will be produced into a short (4) song DVD that will be included with the forthcoming CD. We feel that in this day of technology such as the popular myspace website, bands can reach out farther than they have ever been able to. Video & Audio downloads of Bands, Skateboarders, extreme sports of all kind, have launched many careers. Myspace has become the go to place for many Bands that would never be heard by corporate Radio, to get themselves heard. Look for the new Swagger DVD along with the CD soon. |
